For negative development, I process in trays using PMK Pyro developer. I have found this developer yields exceptional results with HP5+.
My prints are made using a Zone VI enlarger with a variable contrast head. I discovered "split contrast" printing some years ago and use this system exclusively when making prints. I enjoy using a variety of papers, but always VC fiber based. My standard paper developer is Ansco #130, which I find gives a long and rich tonal range with most papers.
